Our Vision:  An educated citizenry engaged in developing and providing innovative and cross-disciplinary responses to the social problems in their own local communities.

Our Mission: Empower the next generation of leaders for America's cities by (1) introducing the best and brightest recent college graduates to the inner workings of local government; (2) bringing their talent and energy to bear addressing the challenges local communities face; and (3) exposing them to meaningful careers in public service.

Our Method: An independent, non-partisan national service corps program that integrates hands-on work experience inside the highest levels of local government with intensive training in how cities work and the people, issues and organizations that impact local policy.

Our Results:
In our first 12 months, 21 diverse recent college grads worked more than 30,000 hours to solve challenges facing the residents of Houston and San Francisco.  They also performed 28 consulting projects for city agencies.  And, each corps member completed more than 300 hours of training in how to drive social change from within local government.
