Why San Francisco is important to me: From elementary through high school, I attended Chinese School in San Francisco. Growing up as an Asian American, my parents felt it was important for me to learn, speak, and write in Chinese. San Francisco was the city where I could learn Chinese with my peers.
Something unique about me: During my junior year of college, I helped create and taught a student‐led course entitled “Field Guide to Sustainable Living in Davis.”
