What I Worked On: Documenting the Health Department’s permits and permit processes for the Mayor’s One-Stop Permitting Initiative, updating the city’s laboratory fees and the corresponding system software, and implementing an ethics hotline for the Health Department’s employees and clients.

Why Houston is important to me: My father now works in Houston, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to be with my family.
What I’m Doing Now: I’m attending medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. I hope to build a career in public health.
